Tony becomes an Honorary Member

It was a surprised and puzzled Bro Tony Stewart (Treasurer of Lodge Inverkip Ardgowan No 1425) who heard his name announced at the meeting on 16^th September.  This was reflected in his facial expression as he made his way to the centre of the floor. RWM Bro Alan Beck had asked Bro Tony to do so because he was about to become an Honorary Member of No XII. This honour was peculiarly appropriate and well deserved because of Bro Tony’s continuing support for the Lodge.  This manifests itself in many ways – perhaps most vividly in his attendance at No XII’s regular meetings and his ‘road trips’ with RWM Bro Alan to visit lodges both near and far.  The impressive statistic quoted by RWM Bro Alan was that, in his two years in the Chair, Bro Tony has accompanied him on visits 161 times!  After being congratulated, Bro Tony expressed his gratefulness and pride at receiving the honour and was warmly welcomed by all in attendance.
